A small project I worked on just for fun.
During the fall of 2020, when Covid was an issue for schools that were opening up, my friend Justin Bolter asked for my help designing a quick app he wanted to build for a high school. The app would allow students to check in after answering a few questions, and be entered into a system.
It was a way to evaluate students’ Covid symptoms and/or exposure to Covid and advise them on whether they should go to campus, and also keep track in a dashboard for staff to contact students to check in.
It needed to be something that a teenager in a rush would be willing to make it to the results - it had to be very simple to use and understand with extremely clear instructions in the results. We tried to make it have a light-hearted less-clinical feel to help with motivation as well.
I updated the logo Justin had and did colors and UI, and also helped with some UX and copy writing.
